We have found that the mindset of the mother guinea pig is absolutely crucial in determining the mindset and happiness of the offspring.

Between 3 to 5 weeks old depending on individual development, training will begin in several areas including biting, caging, socialization and using a litter pan.
Each guinea pig receives training to calmly be picked up and set down in their home.
Every guinea pig receives bite deterrent training. The training will reduce biting directed towards hands. However, never put your fingers near their mouths. The area directly in front of their nose is a blind spot they can't see. Guineas often explore using the nibble test and placing anything in front of their mouth may trigger a test nibble.
Socializing with other guineas of same sex to determine their tolerance, dominance level and compatibility to make a good pairing.
Training must continue in their new furever home for best results.
Our guinea pigs are mixed breeds of America, Crested and Sheba Mini Yak.
Our Guineas are bred special for their personality and willingness to form a trusting bond with humans. My experience from buying a Guinea at the pet store it was a gambling on if the pig picked will ever become trusting and half never really did. In a small experiment I was able to determine that at least some of a guinea pigs ability to become trusting was hereditary. These ones have the right genes to build a good bond with their human. Plus I work with them daily to help them develope into their best personality.
Mother and fathers are selected for their superior personalities, and intelligence.
Each guinea gets one on one attention, age based training, and socializing to insure they stay happy and healthy.
Our guineas have continuous access to clean Oxbow hay and pellets along with fresh vegetables treats or fruit snacks.

Heath of the adopted guinea pig(s) is guaranteed for 30 days from pick up. We may either provide a replacement, refund, or no refund at our discretion, based on the individual circumstances. Proof of an objective health problem will be required.
Our guinea pigs should never be surrendered to a shelter or rescue. If you experience circumstances that lead to your inability to properly provide for the guinea pig contact us and we will help you rehome them.
